Swinburne Media has recently published an article about the brand new Closed Loop in-vessel composter on campus! Some of Swinburne's cafes have begun using the composter to convert their food scraps into compost. The compost will soon be collected by Swinburne horticulture to grow fruits and vegetables! These cafes are also participating in our foodcompostfood.org research, so stay tuned for regular updates.
